About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) to lead and deliver enterprise-scale SD-WAN transformation projects. You will be responsible for end-to-end design, deployment, migration, and operational support of SD-WAN solutions in complex environments, working closely with internal teams and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Design & Architecture

• Lead the design of Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solutions aligned with customer and enterprise requirements.
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Bills of Materials (BOM), and deployment documentation.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.

🔹 Implementation & Deployment

• Execute Greenfield and Brownfield SD-WAN deployments across multiple sites.
• Configure and validate vManage, vSmart, vBond, and SD-WAN edge devices.
• Manage seamless migration from legacy WAN to SD-WAN environments.

🔹 Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Prepare detailed deployment guides, operational runbooks, and support documentation.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for operations and support teams.

🔹 Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), operations teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Engage with Technology Landscape Owners (TLOs), Project Managers, and delivery teams.
• Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and change management activities.

🔹 Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide L3 support during and after SD-WAN deployment phases.
• Troubleshoot complex SD-WAN, routing, and network integration issues.

🔹 Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and standardization.
• Stay current with Cisco SD-WAN enhancements and industry best practices.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of network engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
• Strong experience with:
  • SD-WAN policies, templates, and orchestration
  • vManage, vSmart, vBond, and edge device configuration
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end network transformation projects.
• Solid cross-technology knowledge of:
  • LAN, WLAN
  • Firewalls
  • Infoblox (IPAM / DNS / DHCP)
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
